Baptism

Baptism is a way to publicly acknowledge one's belief in Jesus Christ and commitment to following Him. It signifies a conscious decision to embrace a new life in Christ and publicly declare this faith to the world. Going under the water symbolizes death and burial with Christ, while emerging from the water symbolizes resurrection and a new life in Him. Jesus commanded his followers to baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
